Olivia Hutchison is the founder and head jeweller at Diamond Boutique. From a young age, Olivia knew she wanted to be a jeweller, and through hard work and determination, she became the amazing jeweller she is today. She always had a passion to be creative and being a jeweller is her creative outlet. Each piece she handcrafts is a work of art that reflects her love and desire to create. Olivia is also an experienced valuer, gemmologist, diamond grader, Antwerp diamond broker, and an awesome Mum. From her humble beginnings manufacturing from her home garage in 2005, she has come a long way putting her heart and soul into Diamond Boutique to make it the sophisticated and successful jewellery store it is today. Olivia has been acknowledged for her achievements in The Canberra Business Success Stories Publication in 2016. She spends her days juggling many hats (and diamonds) and when she is not in her store doing what she does best, she is travelling to Antwerp and Hong Kong to find her customers the dream diamond. With a total of 23 years experience in the jewellery industry, she is truly an expert in her field.

James Plumb is Olivia’s right-hand man. With 12 years of experience manufacturing and repairing bespoke jewellery, James is the go-to-guy for all your jewellery needs. Starting as an apprentice in Ballina NSW, he frequently travelled to Brisbane to complete his qualification in Jewellery Manufacture at South Bank Tafe. He has since moved to Canberra and became a valued team member of the Diamond Boutique family. He’s easy-going, fun, entertaining and keen to help in any way he can. Customers are always impressed with James’s ability to draw 3D design on the spot. Working closely with Diamond Boutique’s experienced team of jewellers, James and the team take great pride and passion in creating the perfect piece for all their customers.
